Restoration

A good instrument should last forever. But over time, certain components may fail or become damaged, or undergo sub-standard repairs, sometimes to the point that the instrument becomes virtually unplayable.

A restoration will rescue a deserving instrument, bring it back into optimum playing condition, and ensure its resale value.

Restoration usually involves a degree of dismantling of the instrument. This can be time consuming, and not every bass warrants the cost. But a quality instrument, or one to which you hace sentimental attachment, doesn't deserve to die from old age or neglect, and is always a candidate for restoration.
