In this section you can see some of the double basses I have made or restored.

It's a work in progress. I used to have a very detailed web blog about the construction of these but due to a web host problem those original blogs vanished. I'm reconstructing them slowly.

    This bass is taken from a pattern made from an instrument attributed to English maker Daniel Parker and constructed from Australian woods. It has a clear, loud tone and easy to play. Currently strung with Flexocor strings for best arco response.

    This bass is for sale, $13,500 AUD.
